    Though it rained cats and dogs, Omtu Gyawana was a huge success. This is the third of a seriatim of Bachama cultural festivals and events, including Kwete Festival in Lamurde, that will eventually culminate in Vunon Wrestling Festival in Farai at the begining of the rainy season next year (2025). It is a collaboration between the Bwatiye and the people of Barre, longstanding allies of the Bwatiye. Their presence each year adds unique moxie to the event.   The rain is a sign of blessings.
